Richmond's morning chill will gave way to some chamber of commerce-type weather this afternoon.

It was 46 degrees at 5 a.m., but the National Weather Service says today's high will be near 74 degrees by late this afternoon and be accompanied by negligible winds.

That continues a run of more than a week in which the forecast calls for sunny days with highs in the 70s and cool nights with lows from the mid 40s to the upper 50s.
