Southbound traffic on Pouncey Tract Road near Twin Hickory Lake Drive in western Henrico County is being diverted into the center median this evening while crews perform emergency pipe repairs, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Traffic is restricted to one lane in each direction, VDOT says, and motorists should use an alternate route to avoid delays, if possible.

VDOT did not know immediately when repairs will be completed.
