The Childtime Learning Center, 10300 Memory Lane, Chesterfield, will be hosting a community yard sale on Saturday, August 16, 2008 from 8 a.m. to noon.

There will be a number of used children's items for sale. There will also be an Alex's Lemonade Stand, which helps fight childhood cancer one cup at a time.

"The struggling economy has hit many of us in the community and we wanted to do something to help," said Shannon Dunlap, center director. "We know that many of our families have a number of items their children can no longer use or have outgrown and what a perfect opportunity for another child to benefit at a great price."

Families will also have the opportunity to tour the Childtime facility and meet staff if interested.
