It cannot be emphasized enough: The only difference between next weekend's Richmond Folk Festival and the three National Folk Festivals that preceded it is the name.
• October 10-12, 2008: The Richmond Folk Festival takes over where the National Folk Festival left off.
• Oct. 25, 2008: Celebrate VCU's 40th anniversary with a day of music and festivities in Monroe Park. But first, vote for the bands!
• October 25 & 25, 2008: Large guys throw stuff at the Richmond Highland Games & Celtic Festival.
