Why: Head to St. Benedict's in the Museum District for two days of German food, music, dancing, children’s activities and, of course!, beer.
Food and drink can be purchased for $1 tickets. The wurst platter and the roast pork platter run 10 tickets each, where the wurst on a bun will set you back 4 tickets and the giant pretzel costs 2 tickets.
Breweries such as Blue & Gray, Extra Billy's, Legend, Richbrau, and St. George will be providing the golden ale for 4 tickets each.
St. Benedict's Oktoberfest is held in an effort to raise money for scholarships for children who wish to attend Catholic schools located in the Museum District. It also provides a fun opportunity for people to enjoy German food, music, dance and culture.
