DirecTV users can now watch local channels in high definition.

The satellite television company was the last among area providers to add an HD feed, but now WWBT-Channel 12, WTVR-Channel 6, WRIC-Channel 8 and WRLH-Channel 35 have separate DirecTV channels that air content in HD.

WCVE-Channel 23 and WUPV-Channel 65 do not have HD feeds at this time.
