Street closings The following streets will be closed to make way for the Richmond Folk Festival. Friday through midnight Sunday:
Byrd Street between Second and Seventh streets
Second Street between the Lee Bridge and Byrd Street
Third Street between Canal and Byrd streets
Fourth Street between Canal and Byrd streets
Fifth Street between Canal and Tredegar streets
Tredegar Street between Fifth Street and the Belle Isle lot (except for Dominion traffic)
Haxall Point between Seventh Street and the parking deck entrance
Spring Street between Belvidere and Second streets Shuttle bus schedule Some parking is available near the festival site, but with 100,000 people expected during the weekend, using the free shuttle buses is an excellent idea. From: The Diamond and Beaufort Plaza, across from Cloverleaf Mall To: Second and Byrd streets, and Tredegar Street near Fifth Street When: 4:30-10:30 p.m. Friday, 11:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Sunday How often: Every 20 minutes
